Free PDF Tools

Merge, split and compress PDFs — everything runs locally in your browser. Your files are never uploaded anywhere.

Merge PDFs

Choose two or more PDFs — they'll be combined in the order you select them.

💡 Select all your files in one go: in the file picker window, hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and click each PDF, or hold Shift to select a range — then click Open.

FAQ

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Every operation — merging, splitting and compressing — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device.

Is there a file size or page limit?

No hard limit is enforced, but very large PDFs (100+ MB) may be slow since your device's memory and processor handle everything, rather than a server.

Why didn't compress shrink my file much?

If your PDF is mostly scanned pages or high-resolution images, most of the file size is the images themselves, which this tool doesn't re-encode. It works best on text-based and annotated PDFs.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted or password-protected PDFs may fail to process. Remove the password first using your PDF viewer, then try again.
